Cozy Getaways exists because our founders were, at one point, frustrated cabin owners with a management company that never picked up the phone.
Our Story
We built the company we wanted to hire
In 2014 Sarah bought a three-bedroom cabin off Aska Road and handed it to a national management company. Within a year the reviews were slipping, the linens were mismatched, and nobody could tell her why her October rates were the same as her March rates.
She hired a second company. It went about the same. So in 2016, with Marcus — a hotel revenue manager who understood exactly why those October rates were wrong — she started Cozy Getaways with four cabins.
Eight years later we manage eighty-one homes with twenty-two local employees. We still turn down more properties than we take on, because the entire premise of this company is that someone who cares can actually get to your cabin.

Genuinely local
Every person who touches your cabin lives within thirty minutes of it. No regional managers, no ticket queues.
Transparent by default
Real invoices, no markups, and a statement you can actually read. If you have to ask what a charge is, we failed.
Care over volume
We cap the portfolio on purpose. Growth that costs us the ability to walk every home is growth we turn down.
Earn it monthly
Month-to-month agreements after the first ninety days. We would rather keep you by performing than by contract.

Runs our in-house cleaning teams and the photo-verification standard that keeps ratings above 4.9.
Travis Kirby
Maintenance Lead
Fannin County native, licensed and endlessly practical. Has never met a well pump he could not talk down.
Along The Way
Eight years in the mountains
2016
Founded with four cabins and one very used pickup truck.
2018
Brought housekeeping fully in-house after one too many subcontractor no-shows.
2020
Hit twenty-five homes and hired our first full-time maintenance tech.
2022
Launched the owner portal and direct booking site.
2024
Named a Fannin County Small Business of the Year finalist.
Today
Eighty-one cabins, twenty-two local employees, still capped on purpose.
